Today I am showing you a card, with a quick little tip on inking edges....
I have been doing some looking around at all the images in the Silhouette store and am LOVING all the neat silhouettes on there! This is not from the shilouette store, but I have been inspired!! :) I actually used the Forever Young cartridge. I also used the lace background stamp, and the Flirty Girl set.
I love to ink around the edges of a lot of pieces on my projects... It gives such awesome dimension to the cuts. I have seen a lot of crafters using a Inkessentials blending tool on a craft mat to get this effect. I don't have a craft mat, but I do have something that I find works well too. I use the clear cover that comes stuck to a cricut mat as my craft mat. It's not as big, but I find works just as well!

Fantastic card. I love the effect of the inking.
What a great idea to use the mat cover as an inking mat. You can always just roll it up and put a rubber band around it and it's out of the way. I love that background stamp. It's so detailed that I thought it was actual lace. I want the forever young cartridge so bad. I saw good prices on it at christmas, but was using my money for everyone but me. You did a great job on your card. Very elegant looking. Thanks for sharing.
