Find Joy Everyday

**** Click HERE for my current GIVEAWAY!! *****

Hi! Today I am posting a quick card that I made for a fellow crafter who was in a car accident recently. She was let with some very serious injuries and is on a very long road to recovery. Just thinking about what has happened to her makes me really appreciate everything I am lucky enough to have in my own life...

Hopefully this will put a little smile on her face.

I used Cindy Loo for the tree, inked it with Vintage Photo distress ink and added some glossy accents to the berries. I used some twine from Pink By Design and a button that I picked up from a thrift store. The sentiment is from the Enjoy the Journey set. The pearls are Recollections from Michaels. I used a Martha Stewart lace border punch and a white gelly roll pen for details.

Hope you like! I am working on a really cute layout for my PBD post on Monday, can't wait to show you guys!! Have a great Thursday!!

so much LOVE!!

I'm back again - 2nd post of the day!!!!! My hubby had the day off today and it's raining so all his yardwork is on hold again!! Yay for me!! That means I get to sneak into my craft room while he plays with the girls! :)

I was looking at the Pink By Design Community this morning and I was totally inspired by their current challenge. If you haven't yet, you really need to head over there to check out the message boards!! AND the newest challenge!! Here is what I came up with...

Not very often can I say I LOVE how my layouts turn out, but I am soooo happy with this one! It could have something to do with the picture, it's my fav picture of all time!!!

I cut out the flowers on with my Cricut and then stamped them with sentiments, then inked the edges for a vintage print look.

Details...
- flowers are cut from Cindy Loo. I only cut 2 layers of the flower, the biggest layer and the small black flower on the inside. Then I stamped them using the All Girl set from Pink By Design, inked the edges using a makeup sponge and regular black ink and added a pearl in the center
- the swirly background square was cut from the Storybook cartridge
- the 'so much love' tag was cut with my paper trimmer and then I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the edge. The sentiment was from the Big Thoughts set by Pink By Design
- pearls, ribbon and paper from Michaels

Hope you like!! I love this pic.... Check out the Challenge on the Pink By Design blog!! Great Prizes being given away!!

You're An Inspiration, Mom

Hi!! Hope everyone is doing great! I got to go to spend a day with my best friend yesterday! It was great! She lives about 4 hours away from us and we don't get to see each other as much as we'd like now that I have kids... I really miss her. :( Yesterday we got to spend the day chatting and shopping, it was perfect!

Today while the kids were napping I finally had the chance to finish a card that I've been in the middle of for a really long time.

I got all my new Pink By Design stamps the other day and I love them!! This is the first chance I have had to play with them and I was so excited!! I made this card twice and stamped the second one with 'grandma' instead of 'mom'. Perfect card for a mom or a grandma!

Here are some details..
- Flowers are cut from Cindy Loo cartridge @ 3" and 1"
- sentiment is a combination of stamps from 2 stamp sets - All in the Family & Enjoy the Journey (this is my favorite set!) by Pink By Design
- Martha Stewart border punch
- hemp string, button, pearls all from my stash
- doodles with white Gelly Roll pen
