Cherry On Top!

Click HERE for my CRICUT CARTRIDGE GIVEAWAY!!!!
I am sooooo in love with cherries... I don't get why I haven't created soo many more projects with cherries!! I think about projects with them all the time, but those projects just never seem to get very high on my priority list! This time, the cherries MADE it!! :) I was making a few of these to sell, so I had to keep them pretty simple...

Unfortunately this pic looks like crap and I didn't realize until I had deleted the other ones I took....
Hopefully you can get a better idea from the close-ups!

I used paper from a Recollections paper pack from Michaels that had cherry and strawberry prints on it. Super cute. I cut the cupcake from the Sweet Treats cartridge.

I used my banner punch from Stampin' Up, along with some Trendy Twine that I won earlier this year. The sentiment is from the Take The Cake set by Pink By Design. I also added some Glossy Accents to the cherry, and a lot of faux stitching with my white gelly roll pen.

I hope you liked my project today!! :) I am linking it up over at Pink Cricut!! Head over and check out all the projects!!!

XOXO

Hello friends!!! I actually took a break from LAYOUTS last night!!!! Mostly because I didn't have a lot of time to work on a project....

This card was inspired by this challenge over at Pretty Little Studio as well as the January challenge at Simply Crafts.

Love this pic - I had so many ideas...

Here is my card!!!

I used this cupcake since it was the chosen cut to use for the challenge at Simply Crafts. I used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges of my mat - I'm getting better at stitching a STRAIGHT line!! :) I embossed the top of the muffin with my divine swirls cuttlebug folder.

I added some glossy accents to the heart on top to give it some shine. I also added the little flag stamped with xoxo from the Love Always stamp set by Pink By Design. I also added a pin - a new addiction of mine! :) Like I need another crafty addiction!!!

I hope you like my card, and don't forget to check out my post about the Cricut Cartridge I am giving away!!!!

Sweet Talker

**** Click HERE for my current GIVEAWAY!! *****

Happy Tuesday Guys!! I seriously cannot believe it's already the 26th of July... Time is FLYING by!! My baby is going to be a year old in two weeks, and I have barely even started on her party planning!!! I have a general idea, but haven't really gotten started. Plus, this weekend is going to be the big One Year Anniversary Party at Pink By Design!! (Make sure you're around for that, it's going to be soo much fun!!)

My layout today is for Brittyn's album. I wanted to make sure I did this page now, so that I don't forget all the words she is saying at this age. I love how this page turned out!!

I got this paper from WalMart the other day and I LOVE it!! It's by Momenta. I couldn't wait to work with it, the colors are awesome.

My FAVORITE things to make and stamp with cute little faces are ice cream, cupcakes and fruit!!! They are just so adorable!!

Here are the details of this layout...
- The ice cream sundae was cut from Sweet Treats @ 5", the cherry on top was embellished with Glossy Accents and the face was from the Peachy Keen Princess Faces set
- the cherries were cut from Hello Kitty Greetings @ 1.5" and stamped also with Peachy Keen Princess Face stamps. I glossed these with Glossy Accents as well (although you can't tell in the pic..)
- the banner was cut from the Birthday Bash cart @ 1.5", the twine was from The Twinery, the letters are stickers from my stash
- 'Talker' is cut from Country Life at about 5.5"
- the little white tag that says '1st words' was made using the Labels set from Pink By Design, the words were from the So Big set (see below...)
- Martha Stewart lace border punch
- scalloped part of journaling tag was cut from Gypsy Wanderings (sorry.. don't have the size) and the inside lined circle was cut from a notepad I bought on sale at Michaels (for this purpose!!) I cut the tage really big because I have so much to say on this layout! :)

Here are the PBD stamp sets I used...

SO BIG

Bachelorette Party

HI!!!!!! I actually have a post today!! :) It's been way too long... Life has been crazy. Fingers crossed things are going to settle down around here for a little bit!!

It's my day to post over at the Pink By Design Blog. Head over there to check out a little tip I have for making multiple invites!!

I made this invite for a Bachelorette Party for a friend of mine. After all the Father's Day cards and my husband's birthday, I was more than ready to make something GIRLY!!

I used my Party Time set from Pink By Design to make the inside of the card.  (Check out the stamping details on the Pink By Design Blog!)

Here are some details...
- the card is A2 sized
- purse is cut at 2.75" from the Paisley cartridge
- tag is cut from Sweet Treats, sentiment is from the All Girl Pink By Design set, I inked around the tag using regular black ink
- party detail stamps on the inside are from the Party Time set by Pink By Design
- ribbon and pearls are from the Dollarstore
- white background layer is embossed with the Paisley Cuttlebug folder
- Twine from The Twinery

I hope you like my invite! :) And I have my fingers crossed I'm going to be back with regular posts now that things have settled down (knock on wood!!)!!

Smiley Flowers

Hi out there!! Welcome to all you new followers who have found my blog through K. Andrews' Link Up Party! So happy to hear from you!! I'm working on checking out your blogs!!

A couple days ago I made a card inspired by a Peachy Keen Challenge. After looking at the card yesterday I thought I could make it a little better and decided to, of course, make a matching bag! The card turned out so cute I couldn't help myself! I think it's fair to say I'm addicted to making matching bags! :)

I love this set so much! I left out the inside sentiment on the card this time and now it's so versatile! I could use it for a girls' birthday, a mother's day gift, or even a girl baby gift!! It's so bright and spring-y!!! I feel like smiling when I look at it! :)

This is the old card...

I didn't like the faces on the flowers so on the card that I remade I used ALL Wide Eyed Kids' Faces, instead of a combination of two different sets of faces. I think it looks so much better now... If you would like to see the details of this card check out THIS post. I have had a few people ask me where I get the bags from... I get them from a few different places - mostly dollar stores though. Sometimes you can find them in really random stores... I have found white and kraft ones at wal-mart as well.

I'm going to enter this card into the Fantabulous Cricut Spring Fling Cricut Crawl! (HERE) It's another great way to discover new blogs and find inspiration!!

Have a great day!

If Friends Were Flowers, I'd Pick you!!

Hello!! I made this card with inspiration from one of the recent Peachy Keen Challenges. My card was a little too different from the challenge sketch so I didn't enter it into the challenge.  I try to enter a lot of PK challenges though, they're so much fun! Great prizes too! Anyways, here's my card!

Details...
- flowers are cut from Sweet Treats cartridge, faces are a combination of Everyday Character Faces and Wide Eyed Kids Peachy Keen Stamps
- twine is from the Twinery
- yellow background layer is embossed with Cuttlebug folder
- button is from my stash
- doodles with white gelly roll pen
- sentiment inside card reads 'If Friends Were Flowers, I'd Pick You' (by My Pink Stamper)

Just a quick tip!! If you happen to get a smudge of something on a project (I'm accident prone with my ink pads!!), a white eraser works wonders!! I had a smudge of black ink on the yellow of a flower and I just 'erased' it right off, can't even tell it was there! (Make sure the eraser is clean first though, otherwise you may make a mess on your project) Try it! I hope you get the same great result!!
Enjoy your day everyone!! :)

For My Friend

Hi, Hi!! Guess what I got in the mail yesterday??? The Peachy Keen Stamps I ordered when they had their big Superbowl sale!! Yayyyy! It's so exciting! (The stamps, not the superbowl... I'm a hockey fan :)) I got 3 sets: Wide Eyed Kids, Wide Eyed & Bushy Tailed and the Everyday Character Face Parts set. I couldn't wait to try out the cute little wide eyed faces! I thought I would use them on a card for the weekly challenge at  Fantabulous Cricut (HERE).

Aw, isn't the little cupcake so cute? I think I may bake some cupcakes tonight.... yum.
So here are a few details...
- Card Base cut from Birthday Bash
- Cupcake cut from Simply Charmed
- Tag cut from Sweet Treats
- Sentiment from My Pink Stamper Everyday Life Set
- Cupcake face from Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids set
- White Gelly Roll pen for some doodles
- Ribbon is from the dollar store I think?

Bye for now! Have a great day!!

Hello Kitty Wall Hanging

Hey Everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I did!! :) For Christmas my Dad and my daughters got me a certificate to a camera course that took place this Saturday! It was great, I am now using all the manual settings on my camera (it's about time really, I've had the camera for 2 years...). Anyways... The project I'm sharing today is a wall hanging for Bria's room. We just moved into a new house a month ago and I have been LOVING decorating two girly little rooms. Here's what I created...

I am entering this into Throwback Thursday Challenge at My Creative Time ( HERE). I love her stamps and hope to purchase a set (or two;)) sometime in the near future!

And here is some other pics of Bria's room so you can really get a feel of how the picture will look in her room...

Bria is, and has been since she was a little baby, the spark of the family. She's so active, bright and full of life so I think her room really suits her. I'm not quite done in there, I have a few things I have yet to put up on her walls. Someday! OH! And I'll bet at least one person who looks at these pics is going to wonder where the little 2 year old's toys are??? They're downstairs in her toy room... which is not quite so tidy. :) I have a couple more picture ideas in mind for Brittyn's (my other daughter) room and once I get those done I'll show you her room too! :) (It's soooo cute...)

So here are the details on the Hello Kitty wall hanging....

- Hello Kitty Greetings cart for Hello Kitty
- snail, butterfly, clouds and sun from Create A Critter
- flowers from Sweet Treats (I'm not too sure where I got the stem from... I think it may have been Create A Critter?)
- grass from Paper Doll Dressup
- Peachy Keen Everday Character Face Assortment for snail and sun faces
- Tim Holtz distressed ink to give the grass some dimension
- white Gelly Roll pen for doodles
- Tattered Angels Glimmermist on clouds and sun
- blig from dollar store for flower centers

I was also wondering.... Do you guys like to know the sizes of the cuts? I never pay much attention when I look at other peoples' projects but please let me know if the sizes interest you and I can add them on here from now on. Thanks!!
