Pretty Little Puppy

Hi Hi!! So I've discovered this challenge blog lately... It's called Mojo Monday. I LOVE this blog! Every Monday they provide a different card sketch which is awesome for me since I'm still pretty new at making cards. A lot of time I have trouble laying out my cards. Not anymore! :) If you haven't heard of it and you need some inspiration you should check it out! I browsed through some of their old challenges to find a sketch I liked and used it to get inspired to make this card.

Check out the puppy's nose!! I am in LOVE with Glossy Accents!! If you don't know what it is... it's a type of glue that dries clear, shiny and it has dimension. This picture is not the greatest - I am still waiting for my lens! - so in the next project I use it in I will be sure to show a good close up!!

- Puppy is from Create A Critter (seriously, what did I do without this cart??), I embossed the white fur using my Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder and used Glossy Accents on her nose. The jewels on her bows are from the dollarstore
- three little flowers and circles are cut from Create A Critter as well

I stamped the inside of the card with a simple 'Thank You' by My Pink Stamper. These colors are definitely not what I would usually choose but I wanted to change things up a bit!! If I had my choice all my projects would be pink and purple!! :)

Another challenge blog I use for inspiration is the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog. They have some super talented ladies that make up their design team that make for oodles of inspiration!! Speaking of PK, I can't believe I didn't use any of their stamps on this project!! That doesn't happen very often!
I'm hoping to get back into my craft room tonight so I might have another project to share tomorrow! Have a great night!!

I'm hoping your post is a good sign and that means that you got a new lens for your camera. Great card.
