Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT Day!!

Hello Everyone!!! I know it has been a loooong time since my last post... :( I haven't been able to get into my craft room a lot since Taylah was born. Any spare time I do get is usually spent trying to sleep! I'm hoping after the crazy Christmas season passes things will slow down a bit and I can enjoy some of my spare time - especially since I did a lot of Black Friday online shopping for craft goodies!

Anyways... back to my post! :)

It's Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT day! Love seeing all my teammates projects!!

I made a layout for some pictures of Taylah for my project today! I just have to decide which pictures to add now! :)

I used paper from the new Christmas Brights Digital Paper Collection and the Lady Bug Cutting File. The Christmas Brights Collection is SUPER versatile and can be used all year round!

I am soooo in love with digital paper. I love that it's so easy to make sure everything in your project matches without running out of any paper! AND I have been printing like CRAZY and have yet to run out of ink with my printer, which was something I was worried about at first!

I made the title myself using colors picked from the digital paper. I also added a simple flower and filled it in with some Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon pattern. I then added some glossy accents over the letters to add some dimension.

I used some very simple flower shapes from the Silhouette store and filled them in with various patterns. Then I printed/cut and inked the edges using fluid chalk ink. The centers of the flowers have an epoxy sticker over them. (SO in love with epoxy stickers right now too!!)

I saved the best part for last... Isn't this an adorable lady bug? I know she's not conventional ladybug colors, but I like to get a little crazy sometimes! ;) I used a Peachy Keen stamp for her face and a touch of Blush copic marker for her cheeks. I used some green Martha Stewart glitter glue for the stem and a flower I had in my stash. Final details with a white gelly roll pen and that's it!

Make sure to head on over to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon blog to see all the awesome projects!
Then head to the Store to see all Lisa's great items released for the holidays!!
