- white gelly roll pen
- Colorbox fluid chalk ink

That's it!! :) And I would love for you all to send sleepy vibes to our household... this no sleep situation is seriously cutting into my crafty time! ;)

Have a great day!!

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons - Just For Him Blog Hop

Yippee!!! It's a Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog hop!! Always fun!! :) We are all making masculine projects for our hop this time around, and Lisa has some awesome files available to make projects for all the men and boys in our lives!! If you came from Jeanne's blog, you are in the right place but if you just stumbled upon this blog, make sure to head back to Lisa's blog so you don't miss any projects!!

I used the recently released Tool Time Cutting Files for my card.

I kept my card super simple because I didn't want to take away from my tape measure.

I always use a foam stickers on my projects to make certain items "pop" off my page.

Here is what I used to make my card...
- Tape Measure from the Tool Time Cutting Files set
- Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files
- Sentiment from the Pink By Design Our Fathers stamp set
- Chevron embossing folder
- white gelly roll pen

A PPPR blog hop would not be complete without a great prize from Lisa!!

For a chance to win, you must be a follower of each blog on our hop and leave a comment on each blog.  For extra chances, you can also "LIKE" Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons on Facebook and/or sign up for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Newsletter
A random winner will be chosen for the prize on Tuesday, May 21st. Only US or Canadian mailing addresses, please.

Beary Sweet Grandma

Hey Friends!! Stopping in for a quick post today... I wanted to get my card for this week's Peachy Keen Challenge up!

This week's theme was a card for Mom/Grandma. Easy peasy. Doesn't it seem like there is always a reason to give a card to a mom or grandma?? I wanted to create something my girls could give to their Grandma and a freebie from Jessica Weible came available that was perfect!!

Love these little bears!!

Here's what I used...
- Bear graphic from Jessica Weible
- Pattern paper from Crate Paper, Stampin' Up and a flowered digital print that I cannot for the life of me find again... :( (does that mean I have too many?! ;))
- Peachy Keen Bear Face Assortment stamps
- the Bear Hugs stamp set from Pink By Design, as well as the Our Grandparents set
- Posy twine from Trendy Twine
- Colorbox fluid chalk ink
- rhinestone from my stash
- white gelly roll pen

That's it!! :)

Smile for the Camera!

Seriously, my favourite thing about Instagram, is the little camera icon! When I saw this camera in the Funktography Jazzers LIP kit, I knew it would make an EXCELLENT shape card!! Was I right?! ;)

What I used to create my card:
Pic 1
How I put it all together:
Step1: To create shaped card base in Silhouette Studio, use the trace tool to outline the camera.
Step 2: Offset the outline to create a border around the camera, mirror the offset.
Step 3: Make sure the two offset outlines are touching, weld them together and cut with Cameo.
No Silhouette? No problem. You can always print your image in Photoshop (or the graphics program of your choice) and cut by hand!
 Pic 6
Step 4: Use circle tool to create circle the exact same size as camera lens & cut
Step 5: Print camera and cut with cameo
Step 6: Add sentiment to camera with ink/stamp
Step 7: Cover one color with glue and add glitter over top, shake excess onto scrap paper. Let glue dry for a couple minutes.
TIP: I fold my paper in half so the glitter is easy to pour back into the bottle.

Step 8: Repeat Step 1 with the remaining 3 colors.
Pic 3
Step 9: Adhere camera to card base, add faux stitching around the outside using a white gelly roll pen
Step 10: Add stitching to the camera lens, adhere to camera with a foam sticker to give dimension

A shaped card can be created using almost any element from a digital kit. Some other examples of elements that would make great shape cards are the cupcakes in theBirthday Boogie Element Pack or the flip flops in the Sunkissed Summer Kit.
Possibilites are endless! I hope this project sparks some creative ideas of your own!!

Made With Love

Whew!!! The project I am about to share with you was made for this week's Peachy Keen Challenge, and I was cutting it close (only an hour to spare)!! :)

Here is my project!!

My girls made coffee mugs for my mom for Mother's Day so I thought it was fitting to also give her some K-Cups!!

How sweet is this little girl?! She is by Samantha Walker, and is available in the Silhouette store.

My mom and dad are both k-cup freaks, so I may have to make one for dad for Father's Day, so he doesn't feel left out! :)

I picked these mugs up at the dollar store and let the girls color/draw on them with permanent markers. Then I baked them in the oven at 350 degrees, for half an hour (welll..... they were SUPPOSED to be baked for a half hour, but we got busy and forgot about them, so they were in there for about an hour.... OOPS! :)). Baking them makes the permanent marker even MORE permanent!! :) The marker probably won't hold up in the dishwasher, but washing them by hand should preserve the drawings.

Here is what I used for this project...
- Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment stamps
-k-cup holder from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
- little girl from Silhouette store
- doily & stitched/scalloped circle dies from My Creative Time
- sentiment from Pink By Design
- Colorbox fluid chalk ink

Ok, that's it!! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Super Mom card and bag!!

Is Mother's Day really this Sunday already?! Did that totally sneak up on anyone else? I am frantically making Mother's Day projects this week!!

A while back, I took a Superman cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and converted it into a Super MOM!! I loved how it turned out, and wanted to try a similar idea with the same files, but a different color scheme! Boy... I had no idea how much TROUBLE this project was going to give me!! A combination of my printer acting up, my cameo not cutting properly and problems with my sewing machine, made this project take forever to complete! I hope the recipient loves it! :)

I used some digital pattern paper from the Beauty Blooms kit by Melissa Bennett and Heather Roselli (at the Scrap Orchard store).

I am just so in love with this color combination! I know I will use this digital kit over and over.

Here is what I used to make my card/bag...
- Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Superhero Trio Cutting Files
- Beauty Blooms digital kit
- My Creative Time button and banner dies
- Pink By Design Our Mothers Stamp set
- Peachy Keen Princess Face Assortment set
- sewing machine
- Cuttlebug folders
- American Crafts jute
- Recollections rhinestones
- Colorbox fluid chalk ink
- Gift Bag from Michaels

I am off to link this project up over at the Peachy Keen release challenge!! I hope you liked my project today!!
