Halloween Tag Tutorial

I know this sounds crazy, but I've been working on Christmas, Easter and Halloween projects lately!! I started working on a couple layouts to try to submit for publications and that got the holiday ball rolling! I'm on a mission to get my scrapbooks semi caught up before the new baby arrives and so far I'm doing ok. I have my fingers crossed that tonight I will get a couple done.

The project I am showing you today is a little tag I made to put onto a layout using all the supplies shown below.

I started by cutting out a large spiderweb using my cameo that I later used as a mask.

On a tag that was dyed in tea, I laid the spiderweb and sprayed black Ditto shimmer spray over it. FYI I had the tag placed in a 12x12 cardboard box to catch any of the black overspray - which there was a lot of! When I lifted up the spiderweb this is the design that was left...

I also inked around the edges with the orange Tim Holtz Distress Ink (sorry, not sure what the color is and I'm too lazy to go downstairs into my craft room!). I added a vintage kitty cutout from Pretty Little Studio, a little Smash washi tape, a button/twine, and some paper from the DCWV Ghosts and Goblins mini stack.

The little border from the DCWV stack is adorable...

I'm going to link up this little project over at Pink Cricut's Link Up Tuesdays! Make sure you stop over there for a lot of awesome projects!! There is everything from furniture to altered glasses to furniture!!  It's super inspiring!!

Today we're taking the girls to the spray park in a town about an hour from here, then coming home to pack up the trailer and go camping for a few days next week. Should be lots of good summer fun! :) Have an awesome weekend everyone!
