Blog Hope Candy Winner AND Baby Boy Card!

Hello Everyone!! First off I would like to say thank you all for participating in the April Bunny Blog Hop! Like I said before, it was my very first hop. Onto my next project! I have 3 friends who have had 4 baby boys in total this past month!! You may be seeing a lot of baby boy cards and bags this next little bit!

I made a different version of this card first but really wasn't happy with it.... I had to make a couple little changes and I think I like the revised card better. Here's the first version.

It was just really missing something....

Here are the details for the revised card...

- Card is A2 (8 1/2"x11" sheet of carstock cut in 1/2 and folded)

- card base is kraft Recollections paper

- baby is cut from Baby Steps, cloud is embossed with Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder and inked with blue Martha Stewart ink

- stars are cut from Create A Critter

- blue background is stamped with stars using cheap white ink - the effect was almost a watermark effect. I also sprayed on some Pearl Angelglitter Mist which I could see might get very addicting! I really love the effect of this stuff!! Check out the closeup to see the background better...

- of course stitching and doodling with white Gelly Roll and ZIG black pens

- oh, and I can't forget stamps! 'Baby' sentiment was by My Pink Stamper and the baby's face is Peachy Keen
