Family is Everything

Happy, Happy Monday! I am so excited for today... mostly because we all got OUT OF THE HOUSE!! :) It's a miracle! Little Taylah is still sick, but she's on the mend! Never did I think dropping Bria off and playschool and getting groceries would feel so exciting! :)

Know what else is exciting?! The Peachy Keen release sneaks! If you have seen them then you know what I'm talking about! My card today was actually inspired by this week's PK challenge - STARS. This is my second project for this challenge... I never read the directions correctly and made a layout when I was supposed to make a card... I'll show you my layout tomorrow! :)

I used some graphics from Pixel Paper Prints and blanked out their faces so I could add my own Peachy Keen faces.

My sentiment is a little hard to read... :( I wish I would've embossed using a different color, but oh well... live and learn! :)

Here is what I used to make this card...
- starfish & rainbow striped digital paper from Sea Animals for Girls from Pixel Paper Prints
- Echo Park wave SVG from Silhouette store (welded to a rectangle)
- blue Ombre digital paper from Sassy Designs
- Peachy Keen Princess and Baby Face Assortment sets
- sentiment from Bracketful stamp set by Pink By Design
- white embossing powder
- white gelly roll pen

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great day!!

Apple Of My Eye

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday! :) It has been almost two weeks since my family has been all healthy... The two big girls and Cam are on the mend, now just baby Taylah and I and we'll be in action again! The good thing about us all being stuck in the house, is that there have been a few "movie" days which meant I could sit on my laptop and design cards! :) Now THAT's what I call a sick day!

For a while now I have been into using digital paper and as of lately I have decided to play with digital scrapbooking kits as well. I am LOVING it!! Here is a card I created using a digital kit from Peppermint Creative:

Everything on this card, with the exception of the twine, pearl, burlap and red card base, were printed and then cut out using my printer and my cameo.

I love the details on the elements (apple and flower!).

Here is what I used to create this card...
- Apple Crisp digital kit from Peppermint Creative
- Gold Shimmer twine from The Twinery
- burlap from Michaels
- EK success scalloped border punch
- colorbox fluid chalk ink
- Recollections pearl
- white gelly roll pen

I hope you liked my card! Have a great weekend!!

Little Man

Hey everyone!! So I have a super quick post today... Everyone in our house is sick, including me, but I wanted to take the time to enter this into this week's Peachy Keen Challenge.

When I saw the challenge this week was to create a 3D item, I knew right away what I was going to make. I am in need of some baby boy bags with matching cards...

I used a SVG from Paper Piecings By Nikki to make my baby. Instead of using the file as an SVG, I put all the pieces together and used the print and cut feature to make my baby. I wanted to make a few sets of these cards/bags and wasn't about to put together a whole bunch of tiny pieces...

Did you notice he's holding a wrench in his hand?! :)

Here is what I used to make this project...
- baby from Paper Piecings by Nikki (Baby Girl set)
- wrench from Silhouette store
- Baby Faces Assortment set by Peachy Keen
- Gears background stamp from Pink By Design
- Sentiment and tiny mustache stamp from Pink By Design Mustaches stamp set
- Recollections screw brads
- sentiment spot from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
- Divine Twine
- white gelly roll pen
- creative imaginations patterned paper

You Color My World

It's Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT day!! Today I used last week's freebie for my fun project!!

Who wouldn't want a rainbow in a bag?!?! I know I would... In fact, I am having a REALLY hard time not eating these. I think I'll have to give them to the girls sooner than I intended...

Since the girls are VERY into their favorite colors right now, I had to make in purple for Brittyn and one in blue for Bria. Bria's favorite color is blue because it's the color of Cinderella's dress, FYI. :)

What I used to make these...
- Happy Rainbow cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
- Happy Lashes face assortment stamps from Peachy Keen
- blush copic marker
- Sentiment from Pink By Design
- circles & spots Cuttlebug embossing folder
- white gelly roll pen

Check out what Lisa released in the store early last night!!!

So cute!! Can't wait to play with these!

Now head over to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog for more DT projects! Thanks for stopping by!!! See you again tomorrow! :)

Spread Your Wings (Plus WINNER)

Hey friends!! Hope you all had a great weekend!! My kids have been sick all weekend so we've been soooo lazy. Today is movie day! And blog posting day, apparently! :)

I have a beautiful layout for you today, based on the current challenge sketch over at BoBunny.

I have had the Gabrielle Collection for a while, but have been hoarding it. Just this weekend when I was cleaning my craft room I realized I have quite a bit of really nice paper that is just collecting dust...

I even used some of my super pretty flowers that I have been saving for a special project!

AND I used some of my awesome new hemp twine I just got from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique on Friday. I can tell I will be using this a lot... I got it in 3 colors (natural, pink and black) but I'm thinking I will definitely be ordering more colors in the future!! (PS - Liz's shipping and customer service are so awesome!)

Here's what I used on this layout...
- Gabrielle Collection by BoBunny
- Natural Hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique
- Prima & Recollections Flowers
- lace from thrift store
- buttons from Dollarstore
- Recollections pearls
- Martha Stewart Butterfly punch
- white gelly roll pen
- flourish from Silhouette store

I also have ONE more thing to take care of... the winner of last week's giveaway!!

Random.org choose #3... Angie Ashuk!!

Congrats Angie! I will be contacting you soon for your mailing address!!

Have a great day everyone! Back tomorrow with some more Scrappy Moms Projects!!!

Welcome to Parenthood!

Hey everyone!! I have a super fun card for you today using my new Scrappy Moms stamps!! Now, just to be clear... this card was not in any way inspired by MY three little princesses... ;)

Funniest little monster ever, right?!

Wait until you see him WOBBLE!!! :) Here he goes...

This was my very first time using an Action Wobble! I only have two of them (given to me by a friend) and I have been saving them for a special occasion!! This monster just wouldn't have been the same with out a wobble! I knew exactly what I was going to do with this sentiment when I saw it!!

This sentiment came from one of the new releases from Scrappy Moms on Friday...

I even broke out my Ditto glimmer mist for this card! Love that lime green spray!! :) Need to use it more often.

Here are all the supplies I used for my card...
- Monster from Miss Kate Cuttables
- Action Wobble
- Fun Celebrations stamp set from Scrappy Moms
- striped paper from Stampin' Up
- Ditto green glimmer mist
- Colorbox fluid chalk ink

Hope you are all having a GREAT weekend!! I have lots of new crafty goodies that I hope to get into today!! Hopefully my little monsters, er, angels, let me have some peaceful time in my craft room! :)
