I wanted to make something fun for New Years!
In case you're wondering, there are bead necklaces in the cone bag, and my tag is a super fun shaker tag!
Here is a quick little tutorial on how I put my tag together...
I started with a tag cut from plain black cardstock, using my Treat Tag Die (from Jaded Blossom). My next layer is the smaller tag die (the Treat Tag die comes with two sizes of tag dies) stamped with the New Years Subway art stamp from the Holiday Treat Tags set. I used the larger of the two tag dies to cut out two tags from black foam (from WalMart). To make them look like a 'frame', I lined up the smaller of the tag dies in the center and ran them through my Big Shot again. I cut one more layer out of clear acetate.
To put the layers together I adhered my white layer onto my black layer and added one foam 'frame' on top using glossy accents. Once that was dry, I sprinkled in my confetti and glitter. Then I glued my clear acetate layer on the foam and added the second foam frame on the acetate. And done! :)
Here is what I used to make my project...
- Holiday Treat Tags from Jaded Blossom
- Jaded Blossom Treat Tag Die
- Cone Bag from Jaded Blossom
- confetti/glitter
- clear acetate
- foam sheets
- glossy accents
In case you're wondering, there are bead necklaces in the cone bag, and my tag is a super fun shaker tag!
My tag is made up of five layers - my Big Shot got some exercise on this one! :)
