Many Thanks! Paper Smooches Challenge

Hey Friends!! I hope you all had a great time celebrating Canada Day and the 4th of July! We have had great weather here and have been loving being outside swimming, running through the sprinkler and all the other great perks that come with summer!!

I have had a little spare time lately so I have been playing a lot with my Paper Smooches stamps! I love their little images so much. They are so cute and super easy to either color or paper piece.

I colored all my little hampsters using Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut around them. I have been wanting to get myself some of the dies that coordinate with the stamps but have been waiting a Paper Smooches sale. I have a loooooong list of goodies in my shopping cart in their store so I'm chomping at the bit to place an order! :)

I used a sentiment from the Word Salad stamp set and added a couple Doodlebug enamel hearts and washi tape to accent. I also used one of the great border dies from My Creative time to create a scalloped edge on my patterned paper.

Here is what I used to create my card...
- Paper Smooches stamp sets: Word Salad & Party Posse
- My Creative Time: Fun Stitched Edges
- Doodlebug: Sprinkles & Washi Tape
- Echo Park digital paper
- Spectrum Noir markers

I am entering this card into the Anything Goes challenge over on the Paper Smooches blog!

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Peachy Keen Guest Designer!

Today I am a guest over at Peachy Keen and I feel so lucky to be able to share my projects there!

I have totally fallen in love with the January release and was fortunate enough to be able to play with a couple of the new sets. Since I have recently purchased and started learning how to use alcohol markers, I just had to color the adorable little tea pot from the January Stamp of the Month set.

I cut my tea pot out as well as three little tea cups.

To make sure my tea pot stood out and was the focus of my card (I know... How could it NOT be, it's so cute!!) I used a couple of pop dots to adhere it to my card.

The supplies I used on this card are...
- PKSC-25 Peachy Keen Stamp set
- Echo Park paper
- washi tape
- sequins
- Spectrum Noir markers

For my second project I created a fun little layout using the new Sweet On You face assortment stamps. These little faces are so popular right now and I have seen them used on so many super cute projects.

These faces look great on SO many different items and I thought one would make the cutest little lady bug!

I think the best part of these faces is being able to color the eyelids! So fun!

Here are the supplies I used to create this layout...
- Sweet on You Peachy Keen Face Assortment Stamp set
- Sweethearts Collection from Doodlebug Designs
- Jaded Blossom Fancy Treat Topper Die
- Cute Ladybug SVG from Miss Kate Cuttables
- Queen & Co bling

I hope I was able to inspire you with my projects today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

I take a TON of pictures of my girls in the summer so of course my project is a layout!

I am so in love with the teeny tiny popsicles on my banner!! They are adorable, and were even easy to put together! I used the Popsicle Fever cutting files...

I used the Simple Banner Shapes to make my banner and added my popsicles using some foam stickers.

I used a single hole punch to take a 'bite' out of my pink popsicle by punching a few holes next to each other, then added some shading with fluid chalk ink.

Here are the supplies I used to make my layout...
- Echo Park Summer Days Collection
- PPPR Popsicle Fever and Simple Banners cutting files
- American Crafts ribbon
- sequins
- sewing machine
- Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink
- white gelly roll pen

Hairy Lil Monkey

Click HERE for the ScrapbookSteals June Blog Hop!!!

Hey everyone!! Did you see the newest Peachy Keen stamps?? Awesome, as always!! There are a couple new face assortment sets that I NEED to get my hands on!! Today I had my two older girls in my craft room with me long enough to put together a fun little layout using the Summer Days Collection by Echo Park - my FAV - for one of the PK release challenges!!!

I had some American Crafts Thickers left from the ScrapbookSteals hop (going on right now - HERE) and I wanted to use some of my brown flock that has been collecting dust. The brown hairy letters screamed 'MONKEY' to me! :) I used this cute little monkey graphic from Pixel Paper Prints a couple days ago on THIS card and I loved her so much I wanted to use her again!! I love how the PK teddy faces look on her!!

Of course I used some dies from My Creative Time... I have never been a die person until lately!! I am sooo in love with Emma's dies and I used them on almost every project! I LOVE when I get my money's worth out of craft supplies!!

Here is what I used to create my layout..
- Peachy Keen Teddy Bear Face Assortment
- Echo Park Summer Days collection
- My Creative Time doily and scalloped circle die
- American Crafts DIY Thickers
- brown Martha Stewart flock
- dollarstore rhinestones

Hope you liked my layout!! I am hoping to get in a project for the other Peachy Keen release challenge going on right now, too! :)

And Then There Were 5...

Happy Saturday!! I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little cabin fever... Two of my girls have been sick these past couple days so we really haven't left the house. :( The only plus side of this is lots of cuddles annnnd a little online shopping... Since I can't get out of the house, I need a little excitement and the instant gratification of buying digital paper and elements is just the ticket!

My recent purchase was a couple of Echo Park kits. I got looking at one, Sweet Day, and realized it would be the perfect collection to use for a layout of the very first time we had our family of five together.

I used a little kraft bag as a place to store a cute little picture Bria drew and brought to the hospital as a gift for Taylah.

Love the new Dancing In Circles 2 stamp set from Scrappy Moms...

The supplies I used in this layout are...
- Echo Park Sweet Day digital collection
- Scrappy Moms Dancing In Circles Stamp set
- My Creative Time stitched circle dies
- Gold Shimmer twine from The Twinery (sold at Scrappy Moms Store)
- brackets from the Silhouette store
- hearts from Miss Kate Cuttables
- yellow ribbon from Little Free Radicals
- rich cocoa Momento ink
- Colorbox Fluid chalk ink
- kraft bag from Oriental Trading
- white gelly roll pen

I am linking this layout up over at Paper Issues (thank you Paper Issues for featuring a couple of my projects lately!!!), My Creative Time and Stuck On U Sketches.

I have more, more and more projects using the new Scrappy Moms stamps in the next few days! And don't forget about my giveaway ending soon...

Happy Wednesday!! It's Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT day!! Today I played with the Superhero Trio Cutting files, which are some of my fav PPPR files! I totally live in a girl's world so I didn't think I would love these files that much, but I DO!! It may be because even though they're 'boy' super heros, then can also be girly!

I thought I would start getting ready for Mother's Day early this year. After all, it IS the most important holiday of the year! ;)

Supplies:
- Recollections cardstock
- 6x6 Echo Park So Happy Together
- Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine
- Princess Assortment Peachy Keen Face Stamps

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Valentines Blog Hop

Hey there!! Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Valentine's Day Blog Hop!!

If you came here from Jeanne's Blog, then you're in the right place!! To start at the beginning of the hop, head over to Lisa's Blog - Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons

My project today is a shape card!! The base is from one of Lisa's cutting file sets (picture of files later on in the post...), and the beauty of this set is that the shapes fit PERFECTLY within the size of an A2 card. This means I can still use exactly half a sheet of my letter sized cardstock for a shaped card! Win-Win! :)

I used the newly released Valentine Kids Cutting Files set for this card...

I love this set because you can change up the kids' heads and accessories!! Endless combinations!

I get a little tired of traditional holiday colors, so instead of reds/pinks I decided to go with my two favorite colors - purple and teal! My teal Trendy Twine matched perfectly!!

I used a cute little Peachy Keen face from the Princess Assortment set. Using Colorbox fluid chalk ink, I inked around the edges of my cuts to add dimension. The paper I used was from Echo Park's Little Girl Collection. I used a white gelly roll pen to add details to my heart - it's supposed to look like a kid wrote it, but I don't think I got "messy" enough!

My card base was a cutting file from the layered labels 2 cutting files

And of COURSE Lisa has some awesome blog candy!!!

Ginger Snap Scraps - So Long Summer

Hey everyone!! Today my post is for the Ginger Snap Scraps Design Team!

Ginger Snap Scraps

If you haven't looked around the store yet, make sure you do!! HERE Cori has a lot of must have supplies and often has sales for her customers - what's not to absolutely love about that?! :)

The theme of the day is So Long Summer. The end of summer would usually make me sooo sad since I am a winter hater..... THIS year for some reason pregnancy and summer heat has not been a pretty combination. I am SO ready for fall. The only thing I will miss about summer is the cute outside photo opps...

I used the Summer Days Collection by Echo Park for this layout. To check out the products Ginger Snap Scraps carries click HERE. I actually placed an order not too long ago from the store and there was definitely some Echo Park in there! :)

I love the stickers that come with the Echo Park Collections but I love to jazz them up a little by adding textures like glitter, glossy accents, pearls, etc.

I hope you love my layout today as much as I do!! Be sure to head on over to the
to check out more awesome projects from the Design Team!!!

This weekend we will be featuring projects all about Back To School. School here hasn't quite started yet... Especially in my household. Bria, my oldest, is only in Playschool which doesn't start for a few weeks yet. Even though I don't have kids in school yet, I went school supply shopping the other day... :) I saw some great sales on and since Bria LOVES drawing/coloring I decided to pick up some fun things for her to play with!

I think Bria will think these are so fun because they're decorated up! She also loves seeing her name on things so I know she'll be excited about the notebook!

I used a combination of Pink By Design Stamps, Stickles and paper from the Echo Park Summer Days Collection.

I also used a real measuring tape I picked up from the dollar store, some buttons from my stash, Recollections pearls, twine, and an EK Success border punch.

I am entering this little project into the Back To School Challenge over at Scrappy Mom's as well as linking it up to the Ink It Pink Challenge over at Pink By Design!!
