Cameo Creations - Valentine Tags

Hey there!! My project today is for the new Challenge over at Cameo Creations! The theme for this challenge is: Valentine Tags!!

I decided to make some tags to used for some bags of goodies I have for my girls for Valentine's Day!

My tag bases are from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I used patterned paper from Sassy Designs to fill them. The adorable animals are from Zenware Designs, which I bought from MyGrafico. The sentiments are from the Pink By Design stamp set, Love Always and the banners are from the Everyday Banners set.

My finishing touches were some bling in the animals' hair and some Trendy Twine bows!!

Now make sure you head on over to the Cameo Creations Challenge blog to check out the other designers' projects and then link up your V-day tags!!! The prize this week is a $10 gift certificate to Lettering Delights!!!

We Appreciate You Teacher

Tomorrow is Bria's second First Day of Playschool! :) She went last year too, but this year she's one of the BIG kids! She told me she's going to teach the other kids how to sit on the carpet when they get there, where their cubbies are and also that she is allergic to nuts and dairy.... I hope she's not too bossy!!! :)

This week's challenge over at Peachy Keen is to create a teacher card. I recently picked up a free graphic over at MyGrafico and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use it. I knew it would look adorable with a little PK face!

Aww... cute! :) The plaid paper is from the Animal Crackers DCWV stack, inked around the edges with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. The doily is from the dollar store, twine from The Twinery and banner plus sentiment are from two different Pink By Design stamp sets - Our Teachers and Everyday Banners.

I know I have said sooo many times before that I am obsessed with using print and cut with my cameo..... WELL, I'm going to say it again... :) I used some digital paper from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon to make the circle with the chalkboard writing.

I am so in love with digital paper... I think every project I have made in the last couple weeks has used digital paper.

I wanted to mention I hopped along with the PK Design Team last week and ended up winning a $20 gift certificate to the Peachy Keen store!! Just wanted to say THANKS PK!! :)

I'm off to run some errands and entertain my kids for a while!! Have a great day!!

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
Every Wednesday Lisa introduces new digital paper/SVGs/graphics!! Everything she has released so far is soo much fun, I cannot wait to see what else she comes up with! She has some really fun things planned for her amazingly talented DT so stay tuned!
If you haven't already, head on over and check out the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons STORE! Make sure you sign up for the newsletter so you can get sneak peeks, news and wonderful, wonderful coupons! (Everyone loves a coupon! :))
Along with my exciting announcement, I also have a couple cards I wanted to show you! I created them for the Back To School Challenge over at the Cameo Creations challenge blog
I know it seems odd... but we have our High School's graduation the third weekend in September. I have no idea why...  (warning - the quality of these pics is junk but I'm on my way out the door for the day!)

I used a graphic set from MyGrafico, print and cut with my cameo and then added some glossy accents. The paper is Momenta and the twine is Kraft twine from Trendy Twine (which I am soo in love with right now)!!

This sentiment is from the Hats Off set from Pink By Design.

Of course I had to make a girl version as well...

This sentiment also came from Hats Off.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!!! I'm off to go run errands for the day!!

Peachy Keen Color Challenge

Hi again! :) Another double post day for me! I have been trying really hard to enter a lot of challenges lately. Before I started with any Design Teams I used to enter a lot of challenges but lately it hasn't been as frequent. I know that when the new baby comes my crafting time will be significantly reduced so I'm having as much crafty fun right now as I can!! :)

I used some bug graphics from MyGrafico, printed then cut them (surprised???) and added some cute Peachy Keen faces. I also added some glitter for some detail and a sentiment from the Gratitude stamp set from Pink By Design.

I popped up my two little bugs to draw attention to them.

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to stop again tomorrow for my guest designer appearance at 3 Girl Jam and a special announcement!!

Happy Grandparents Day!

Quick post, since it's my second one of the day!! :) I have been crafting up a STORM these past couple weeks - AND I've still had time to keep my house clean and keep the girls active with fun activities! I hope this energy keeps up right until the end of my pregnancy! Or at least another couple weeks! :)

Here is the card I made based on the sketch over at the Peachy Keen Connection...

I just realized this morning that tomorrow is Grandparents day!!! I actually didn't even know such a day existed.... bad, bad, bad.... This year, I will hopefully make up for it since my parents are the most AMAZING grandparents my girls could ask for!!!

I used a cute little graphic from MyGrafico, print/cut, then added some super cute PK faces. I used the Grandparents set from Pink By Design for the sentiment on the front, as well as the inside of the card. The hearts are also cut using my Silhouette and I added some faux stitching around them to give them a little more detail.

I used some twine from The Twinery as well as some pop dots to finish up my card!!

(inside of card)

Hope you like my project!! Funny because I think I may have jinxed myself... In the time it took me to write this post, I've gotten a little sleepy!! I think I may go have a rest while the kids are down.... :)

Number Learning Game

Have I ever told you before that I love posting on Saturdays?? Since I'm a stay at home mom and my husband has no work schedule at all, every day is pretty much the same!! I get bored over the weekends when a lot of my favorite bloggers don't post... I figure I can't be the only one excited to see people posting over the weekends!!

My project today is inspired by one of the release challenges over at Peachy Keen. The challenge was to include three of something, and use PK stamps, of course. This got me thinking about a little number game for Bria that I've had in my mind for a little while. I always try to find new, fun ways to teach her letters and numbers. With her help, we choose some graphics that she loved and went to work!

We used the Sea Animals for Girls set from MyGrafico...

I took out the original faces on the graphics so that I could add my own PK faces - which are soo much more cute! :) I used a variety of face assortment sets - Princess Faces, Happy Lashes and Winter Wonderland. Some of the animals only needed one eye since they are looking to the side... For these ones, I inked up my stamp then used a baby wipe to wipe off the ink (then dry the stamp) from everywhere on the stamp except the one eye. Then I stamped the eye onto my creatures. If you look close at the seahorses, I actually only wiped the ink off the mouth and nose on the stamp - the two eyes were the perfect distance apart to stamp both seahorse's eyes at the same time! I made 20 cards - 10 with creatures on them, and 10 with corresponding numbers.

I made the cards in Silhouette software and then printed them out, followed by cutting them with my cameo. I made 20 cards - all the same - with the background paper that came with the graphics set, to make the back sides of the cards. Once I had all these printed and cut, I used ATG tape to adhere a background card to a picture/number card.

I'm planning on taking these to Staples to have them laminated so that they don't get wrecked the first time she uses them!

I will also be linking this project up over at Pink Cricut's Link Up Tuesday!!

I hope you liked my project today!!! I'll be back soon with my second project for the Peachy Keen release challenges!

More Christmas Tags!

Hi friends! A couple days ago I posted some Christmas tags I made using the print/cut feature... I had so much fun making them that I made some more! :) I think I am addicted to making them! I have even one more set in the works!!

For this set of tags, I used some graphics from MyGrafico along with a combination of sentiments from the Winter Wishes stamp set from Scrappy Moms (adorable set!!!!!) and the ever popular Old Time Christmas.

I wish I would have made a tutorial video showing how I made these... Someday I will learn!! Actually, I think what I need is a bigger tripod. I just can't seem to make my small one work in the way I want to set it up.

I added some glossy accents and sparkles to add some dimension to the graphics. Of course I had to add a cute little Peachy Keen face too!! :)

I really wanted to use twine for the strings but I don't have any that matched!! I have some on the way from Trendy Twine but it hasn't showed up quite yet.

I tried to take this pic to show how much detail the glossy accents adds to the graphics. I will definitely need to be buying a new bottle of this wonderful stuff soon!!

The Old Time Christmas stamp set also has the 'To:' and 'From:' stamps in it.

Thanks for stopping by!! :)

Yee-Haw!!!

Hey friends!! I actually have a paper craft to share today!! Yay!! Today's card is inspired by the sketch over at the Peachy Keen Challenge this week!

I got this cute little cowboy from MyGrafico and used the print/cut feature on my cameo to make him. I made sure that I 'blanked' out his face when I printed him out so that I could add a Peachy Keen face! They are always sooo much cuter than the original faces on the graphics! I used some 'twine' that I picked up at a thrift store to make a lassu. I also added a lot of stitching and glossy accents to make sure my little cowboy was anything but boring! I tore the background paper and inked it with vintage photo Distress Ink.

I used the Everyday Banners stamp set from Pink By Design along with the 'Yee-haw' sentiment from the Cowboy Take Me Away set.

I think that's it!! Hope you enjoyed my card and check out my POST from yesterday for a chance to win a set of stamps from Pink By Design! :)

Happy Monday everyone!! I have a couple things for you today!! I'm going to start off with my project - THEN let you know who the winners from the 'It's a RAINBOW' Party Blog Hop are!!! I don't want you to skip over my project to see the winners though... ;)

August is such a BUSY month for us as far as birthdays go... Both my girls are born in August, four of Bria's little friends were born in August (myself and four of my friends were due within three weeks of each other four years ago!!!), my niece's birthday is in August and my cousin (best friend) is due to have her little girl in a week!!!! I have to make more birthday projects in August than I have to make Christmas cards in December!! :)

This project was for my neice, Lailah's first birthday a week ago.

I am sooo in love with print and cut so I used this cute little baby (purchased from MyGrafico) and added some embellishments to make even more cute!! I used some glossy accents on the cake, some Recollections pearls as earrings and a cute little Peachy Keen face (with a blush copic marker for some rosy cheeks).

I used my scalloped circle and circle dies from My Creative Time along with the all around sentiments stamp set. The background paper is from the It's A Girl stack by DCWV.

I wanted to show you how much dimension this card has... It looks great in person because the baby is popped up, then the cake is popped up twice as high.

Hippity Hop

Hey guys!! If you've stopped by my blog this week at all you may have noticed my absence... It's been  a bit of a crazy week.... We started off with the attempt at a camping trip that didn't work out so well, followed by me coming down with the flu and then a head cold for the remainder of the week. Throw that in with very little sleep and there hasn't been a lot of crafty time. :( Good news is that I'm feeling better and hoping to start catching up on sleep again!!! Here's to hoping!!

Here is the very first layout I have created using graphics and the print and cut feature on the Cameo!

And now I am totally addicted to buying graphics!! Right now I don't have time to put together all the little cuts in SVGs and Cricut cuts... I made the words in the silhouette software and added the patterns to the letters by using digital background paper that matches the Easter Parade graphics.

Of course there is a Pink By Design stamp on the layout... This sentiment comes from the Hoppy Spring set which has some really adorable sentiments on it!

These graphics were adorable on their own, but I used my Martha Stewart glitter pens to add some pretty details to them.

I will be entering this layout into the Cameo Creations challenge over at Monica's Creative Madness

I hope you loved my layout today!! :) While you are here, I have a some fun news! I'm hosting a blog hop!! Check out the button on the top left side of my blog!

Make sure you mark your calendars or add the badge to your blog as a reminder!! :) I have some super talented crafters taking part in the hop to celebrate my girls' birthday's with me and of course there will be awesome prizes!!!

Make sure to stop by tomorrow for my Pink By Design post!!

Welcome Little One

Hey Guys!! SO this post is supposed to be for tomorrow, but I won't be at home all day (I'll be heading off to the city for my ultrasound!!!) and I wanted to link it up at the Peachy Keen challenge before the deadline tomorrow.... Here we are!! :)

So recently I have been raving about print/cut on the cameo. I think the BEST thing about this feature, is that I have figured out how to block out the faces on graphics so that I can add my own cute Peachy!!!

(I'll apologize now for the crappy pics.... no light, past my bedtime, etc., etc.) ;)

Speaking of babies... I have had three friends who have recently had baby girls!! Let's just say, I mass produced this card/bag set!

How adorable is that little face?!

I purchased this graphic from MyGrafico - my newest guilty pleasure!!

And of course no project would be complete without a little Pink By Design somewhere!! :)

Here is what I used for this project...
- Baby In A... from My Grafico
- Assorted Baby Faces Peachy Keen stamps
- Sentiment from Sweet Baby by Pink By Design
- scalloped circle from Silhouette store
- Blush copic marker
- white gelly roll pen

ALSO head on over to Ginger Snaps Scraps to add some of your projects to the Link Up Party going on!!

I hope you enjoyed my project today!! If you missed my post from yesterday, make sure to check it out!! I'm giving away some fun twine! :)

Cheese to my Maccaroni

Hi friends!! So today I was going to post another layout that I did this weekend but at the last minute I choose to post a card I made instead! I made this card for my husband, for his birthday on the 18th, from my daughters. I used print and cut with some graphics from My Grafico, paired them with a cute Pink By Design stamp, and added a couple little details!!

I took this pic in such a hurry I didn't even realize the button was out of place... :( Oh well.... it's fixed now! :)

I used my fluid chalk inks to add some color to the cheese to give it a little more dimension. And of course I had to add some cute little Peachy Keen faces, with glossy accents on their eyes! :) Have you ever seen cheese and noodles look so cute?

The sentiment that just makes this card is from one of Sarah's (from Pink By Design) fairly recent releases, You Are. If you haven't yet, you need to check out this set - it's adorable! Sooo many cute sentiments on it!

So here is everything I used...

- K&Company paper stack - sorry too lazy to run downstairs for the name of the designer! :p
- cheese & noodle graphics from the Classic Couples set from My Grafico
- 'Our Fathers' set for the 'DAD' sentiment and 'You're the cheese to my Maccaroni' sentiment from 'You Are' - both from Pink By Design
- Corny Faces from Peachy Keen
- button & twine from my stash
- blush copic marker for the cheeks on the faces
- glossy accents for the eyes
- doodles with a white gelly roll pen

I'm linking this card up to 'Link Up Tuesdays' over at Pink Cricut and also over at Monica's Creative Madness!!

Hope you enjoyed my cute, simple Daddy Birthday card!! :) I guess it could also be used for Father's Day as well!!
