I love butterflies & daisies!

HELLO!!! :) Today I am sharing a layout that I LOVE....

I used my stitched circle die from My Creative Time to create the scalloped kraft paper edge on the left hand side. I took a strip of white scalloped ribbon, cut it in half and glued it down with ZipDry glue. The journaling stamp is from the Pink By Design Journling Set. Of course I added some pearls - don't I always?! :)

Brittyn will be 18 months in two days, I can't believe it! I remember the day I took these pics, and it seems like yesterday! Sigh....

I used my EAD Designs Tinytwinies Stickerz along with Momenta paper to make this layout. The tree is cut from the Sweethearts cartridge. I used my distressed wood Pink By Design background stamp on the tree trunk.  And did you notice my stitching?? I'm getting better with my sewing machine now! Yay!

The words in my title were cut from Baby Steps and the heart came from Gypsy Wanderings.

I'm entering this layout into the following challenges...
-  February Challenge at Simply Crafts
- Wacky Wednesdays at More Than Favors
- Challenge Me Monday at Fantabulous Cricut
- Terrific Tuesdays at Scrappy Moms

Hope you enjoyed my layout today!!!

Home Sweet Home!!

**** Click HERE for my current GIVEAWAY!! *****
Hello!!! I'm finally home!! After being gone for the last 2 weeks to a weekend Bachelorette Party and then straight to Orlando I was super happy to sleep in my own bed last night. I was also so happy to be reunited with all my craft supplies last night! It was my day (thanks to Emily for switching me or Monday) to post on the Pink By Design blog and I had to make my project last night after we got home. This is the card I made...

This card is going to be for my best friend, who is getting married in February on a beach in Mexico.

I picked up this "plastic" clear paper when I was in the states and wanted to try it out. I think you could really do some neat things with it. I was so tired last night apparently I missed one word when I stamped the sentiment...  I'll have to try to fix that today. (It's also a lot easier to read in person...)

If you'd like to see how I stamped on the plastic check out the Pink By Design Blog

I have a lot of projects on my to-do list so stay tuned!! Once I get our luggage unpacked and organized I will definitely be spending a lot more time in my craft room!!! (And I can't WAIT!)

For any of you who may have forgotten, I am hosting a blog hop on from the 20-22nd! Make sure to come back and check it out, there are tons of super talented ladies in this hop and to top it off Pink By Design and EAD Designs are sponsors so you know there will be great blog candy!!

I hope you all stop by again soon!!!!!

LOVE

Hey Everyone!! Quick card today as I am off to my friend's wedding this afternoon and I had to come up with a card before we left!!

Simple and elegant was what I was going for...

Trying to show the dimension on the word 'Love'.

Details...
  • 'Love' is cut at 1.5" from the Sweethearts cartridge and popped up with foam stickers (cut in 12)
  • pearls and paper are Recollections from Michaels
  • ribbon is from my stash
  • 'Congratulations' sentiment on the inside is from the Here Comes the Bride set from Pink By Design
Hope you like!! Hope to be back again soon! Have a great Saturday!!

Love, Honor, Cherish

Second post of the day!! Can you believe this? I also made a batch of baby food in the midst!! I may as well slap a big red 'S' on my chest for the day! :) Only kidding... I just feel like I'm getting a lot accomplished today, unlike a lot of days around here!

So here is my project for the My Pink Stamper Challenge # 5....

I have a shower/stagette for a friend of mine this weekend and was inspired by the big rock on her left hand! :) I like how this card turned out, but there is something missing.... When I figure out what that something is I may add it. Sometimes I try to go for simple and elegant on a card. I didn't want anything to outshine this ring.

Here are some details...
- ring is cut from the Sweethearts cartridge, I added sparkles on the diamond part and then used glossy accents over top. (If I had my favorite camera lens, I could show you this a whole lot clearer....) I also used Tattered Angels Gilmmermist in Pearl on the grey part of the ring to give it a little shimmer
- black frame accent was cut from Gypsy Wanderings and misted with the same Glimmermist
- blue background was embossed with a spotted Cuttlebug folder
- sentiment is from the Here Comes the Bride set by Pink By Design
- popped up black frame and ring with foam stickers from the dollarstore
- of COURSE, no project of mine would be complete without some doodles with my white Gelly Roll pen!!

You might be able to see the glimmermist on the black frame and the glitter on the diamond better in this pic...
Let's see if I can set a record for myself and squeeze one more project in now that my kids are asleep....
