He's a liquor pig in a keg!!

I used some snow effects paint onto my beer mug stamps which made awesome foam.

Using the masking technique, I split my sentiment up to fit onto the flag better.

The inside of the keg is filled with 'beer' chocolates!

Here is what I used to make my project...
- Silver twine from The Twinery

Clearwater Beach Hybrid Layout

Hey everyone!! This is my second post of the day, so if you are looking my project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon's DT Day, check out THIS post.

Have you seen the super new fun kit out at Peppermint Creative?! I love it!! It's called Boardwalk Heat, and has such a wicked unique beach feel to it.

I am in love with wood grained paper, so that's where I started with my layout...

I printed and cut out the seashells in various sizes and they made the perfect embellishments!!

I also used the some elements from the Sandcastle collection from Pretty Little Studio, which went perfectly with the Boardwalk Heat kit.

If you haven't noticed, I am SO addicted to sequins right now!! I love how they look randomly scattered around!

Here is what I used on my layout...
- Sandcastle Collection from Pretty Little Studio
- My Creative Time doily die, Type font stamps
- Pink By Design alphabet stamps
- Gold Shimmer twine from The Twinery

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Make sure you come back tomorrow for my Disney project and a new release from Trendy Twine!

Golden Girl

Hey everyone!! Happy Friday!! It has been a while since I've posted on here!! I haven't had a ton of crafting time, and when I am crafting I have been working on upcoming DT projects. (I have some super fun projects in store for you over the next month or two!) Last night I was inspired at the Pretty Little Studio blog so I broke out all my PLS goodies that I hoard...

I was inspired by the current sketch challenge going on over at the PLS Blog. I used my Stampin' Up Banner Punch for make all of my triangles from various patterns from the Summer Breeze collection.

I just LOVE the adorable vintage feel.... I think I need to get myself some more PLS since I used some up last night... ;)

I painted some American Craft DIY Thickers to use as letters for my title. (So addicted to the DIY thickers!)

Did you catch a glimpse of one of my newest fav crafty embellishments??? Sequins! :) I bought an awesome package at a party supply store a couple weeks ago but wasn't sure how I was going to use them... Then I saw them being used on a few projects at My Creative Time and Scrapping Navy Wife and I think those ladies have me hooked!! :)

Here is a list of everything I used on this layout...
- Summer Breeze Collection
- Stampin' Up Banner Punch
- Gold Shimmer twine from The Twinery
- American Crafts Thickers (and Martha Stewart acrylic paint)
- sequins

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you all have an amazing weekend - Happy LONG weekend to my Canadian friends!!!

A Tight Squeeze From Me To You

Hey there!! Today I created a really fun card that I hope will put a smile on one very special little girl's face! If you would like to read the story about Maddy, and why Simon Says Stamp is putting on a card drive for her, check out THIS link.

Today I played with a digital collection from Dear Lizzy called Neopolitan. I am so in love with the softness of this collection.

Everything on this card was print and cut. I added some gold shimmer twine from The Twinery on thetag, some rhinestones on the wheels and some foam stickers for dimension. Pretty straight forward!

I hope this little girl just gets SHOWERED with cards. My heart breaks when any of my little girls get sick, I couldn't imagine what Maddy and her parents are going through.  It really makes a person forget about the petty things in life, and appreciate the great.

Spring is in the Air

Hey everyone!! I am loving playing with digital kits these days!! I love the fact that I can design projects on my laptop, from my couch, after a long day. My newest "adventure" is joining the Peppermint Creative Creative Team and I'm loving it. I am learning a whole different style of scrapping... I'm not sure that I am GOOD at it yet, but I'm learning and am confident I will get onto this new style in no time. :)

The layout I created today is for the newest challenge over at the Cameo Creations Challenge Blog. The theme of the new challenge is Spring, and use glitter in your project.

I love printing out my own digital paper, but I love to add my own little details to it. In this case, I used some stickles to add some sparkle to the pink flowers on my background paper.

I also tried something new... I added glossy accents to my title, then sprinkled some glitter over it before it dried. It looks kinda crappy in my pic because it wasn't dry yet, but I was losing daylight and had to get my layout photographed!!

My favorite thing about using digital kits is that there are so many matching embellishments to choose from!! Once they are printed and cut out, it's so easy to add my own little details such as bling, glitter, etc.

Here is what I used to make my project...
- Recollections rhinestones
- Stickles
- Buttercream twine from The Twinery
- glossy accents
- Martha Stewart glitter

Make sure you head on over to the Cameo Creations blog to link up your Spring projects using glitter for a chance to win a $10 GC to Lettering Delights!!

Apple Of My Eye

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday! :) It has been almost two weeks since my family has been all healthy... The two big girls and Cam are on the mend, now just baby Taylah and I and we'll be in action again! The good thing about us all being stuck in the house, is that there have been a few "movie" days which meant I could sit on my laptop and design cards! :) Now THAT's what I call a sick day!

For a while now I have been into using digital paper and as of lately I have decided to play with digital scrapbooking kits as well. I am LOVING it!! Here is a card I created using a digital kit from Peppermint Creative:

Everything on this card, with the exception of the twine, pearl, burlap and red card base, were printed and then cut out using my printer and my cameo.

I love the details on the elements (apple and flower!).

Here is what I used to create this card...
- Apple Crisp digital kit from Peppermint Creative
- Gold Shimmer twine from The Twinery
- burlap from Michaels
- EK success scalloped border punch
- colorbox fluid chalk ink
- Recollections pearl
- white gelly roll pen

I hope you liked my card! Have a great weekend!!
