Where have I been??

Hi everyone!! So I have been a little MIA lately... Today is actually my due date!! I have been busy spending quality time with the girls before my attention is split once again. When I haven't been busy with them, I'm working on getting ahead with all my DT commitments so that I don't get caught with no time to meet deadlines in the next month or two. I'm happy to say that I have a lot of projects to post for the next month or so! :)

Today I thought I would share a quick little project I had made a while ago and never posted... It was a card someone had asked me to make for their son.

I used all Momenta paper for this card. I have been a part of the Momenta D-Lite team for almost a year now but it's soon coming to an end... :( As disappointed as I am, I'm ready for some fun new things in the future!

The motocross rider is cut from a file I bought in the Silhouette store, as well as the background shape he's adhered to. I added a little orange inking, some white pen doodles and some embossing to finish up my card.  The inside of the card is stamped with a simple 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from the Birthday, Birthday stamp set from Pink By Design.

Speaking of Pink By Design.... Make sure to check the Pink By Design website regularly - there are some great fun new things coming up!! It's going to be so fun, fresh and new!! :)

That's as exciting as it gets today! :) Other than maybe a baby?! Maybe that's just wishful thinking.... I am definitely starting to feel like I have been pregnant forever. Hopefully I can soon update you all with news on our new little addition!!! :)

I have a super fun announcement to make today...
I am now a part of the Design Team over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!! It's Lisa's first DT ever and I am soo happy to be a part of it!

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
Every Wednesday Lisa introduces new digital paper/SVGs/graphics!! Everything she has released so far is soo much fun, I cannot wait to see what else she comes up with! She has some really fun things planned for her amazingly talented DT so stay tuned!
If you haven't already, head on over and check out the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons STORE! Make sure you sign up for the newsletter so you can get sneak peeks, news and wonderful, wonderful coupons! (Everyone loves a coupon! :))
Along with my exciting announcement, I also have a couple cards I wanted to show you! I created them for the Back To School Challenge over at the Cameo Creations challenge blog
I know it seems odd... but we have our High School's graduation the third weekend in September. I have no idea why...  (warning - the quality of these pics is junk but I'm on my way out the door for the day!)

I used a graphic set from MyGrafico, print and cut with my cameo and then added some glossy accents. The paper is Momenta and the twine is Kraft twine from Trendy Twine (which I am soo in love with right now)!!

This sentiment is from the Hats Off set from Pink By Design.

Of course I had to make a girl version as well...

This sentiment also came from Hats Off.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!!! I'm off to go run errands for the day!!

'It's a RAINBOW party' Blog Hop!!

Hey Everyone!!! I cannot tell you how happy I am to be hosting this 'It's a Rainbow Party!' Blog Hop today!!! I have some SUPER talented and sweet ladies joining me today who are going to blow you away with their projects!!

I have such a great reason to celebrate - my little girls turn(ed) 2 & 4 this month!!

Bria turns four on August 30th... I have never seen anyone more enthusiastic with a greater zest for life than Bria. She is so outgoing and really is the life of the party wherever she is!

Brittyn turned two on the 9th of August... She is our little Princess -  dainty, pretty and girly girl (with the diva attitude to match)!! She is super smart and usually really sweet, other when the terrible twos take over! :)

Now that I'm done introducing (bragging?? :)) about my girls, back to the hop!! :)

I thought this year I would have a joint party for them and invite all their little friends. I've had RAINBOWS on the brain, and Bria and I saw a rainbow cake this summer and from that came the idea for the theme of their Birthday Party - AND of course, this hop!!! :)

First off, I want to tell you about all the BLOG CANDY being given away by some awesome and generous sponsors!!!

*  Flirty Girl stamp set from Pink By Design

* $25 gift certificate from Pretty Little Studio
* $10 gift certificate from the 3 Girl Jam
Prize pack put together by yours truly...

To be eligible for these prizes, please make sure you leave a comment (with a way to contact you) on each of the blogs in the hop before midnight (MST) on August 17th. I would love if you would become a follower of my blog, but I won't force you... :) Random winners will be chosen and announced early next week my blog!!!!

Here is the picture we used to inspire us for our projects...

How much FUN is this?!?!

NOW... onto my project!!!! :)

I had to make something for their party (which is on August 27th). I thought I would try my hand at my very first banner!!

I used the Rainbow Party digital paper pack by Lilly Bimble Digitals, Rainbow Pretty graphics by Jessica Wieble Illustrations from MyGrafico as well as my Silhouette Cameo, to make my banner. The rosettes (from the Silhouette store) are cut using Momenta paper.

Now onto my my great friend Jessica's blog - Jessica's Craft Shaque!!!

JUST in case you get lost, here is the list of amazing crafters in this hop!!

Wishing You A Magical Day

If you're looking for my first post today for the Ginger Snap Scraps DT - Click HERE!!!

Hey guys!! Post #2 for me today!! :)

I finished up this card today and really wanted to get it linked up over at the Scrappy Moms Challenge!!  This week the challenge theme is DISNEY!! I wish I had more time.... I could have made a dozen projects that would fit this theme!!

I also wanted to link up over at the Peachy Keen Challenge! I always love their challenges but lately I haven't been able to keep up with getting projects done in time to link up in the challenge. :( Guess this was a lucky week, being able to get a project in for two of my favorite challenge blogs! :)

Here is the snow white card I came up with for my daughter's birthday coming up..

Isn't she gorgeous?!? I used the a Princess from the Once Upon A Time graphic set from Lettering Delights and the print/cut feature on my cameo. What did I EVER do before I could print and cut??!! :) I added my own Peachy Keen Princess face because I think they are just the CUTEST! :) I also used some Martha Stewart glitter pens to add some sparkle, as well as some glossy accents. The sentiment is from the Pink By Design stamp set - Inner Princess. The white background layer is embossed with my Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder and the edges inked with red fluid chalk ink. The yellow patterned paper is from a mega stack by Momenta... Sorry - can't remember the name of the stack!

I used some a red Glossy pen by Sakura to color in Snow White's lips so they would be nice and glossy. I also used a few pop dots to give Snow White some dimension. Notice the beautiful bow?? I used my 3 Girl Jam bow maker to make this little baby... I had a request on my post from earlier today to see how I made the bow so I'm going to try to put together a little video on how to use my bow maker!! :)

Hope you enjoyed my card!!

Find Courage (plus giveaway winner)

HI crafty peeps!! I have a pretty simple card to share today. There has been a lot of tragedy around our tiny little town in the past year. Unfortunately, I don't have many sympathy cards on hand, so I thought I should get on it.

I cut three simple hearts, inked them and used my sewing machine to stitch them on. A little inking with some distress ink and a Pink By Design sentiment, and viola! :)

Easy Peasy!! :)

Here are the supplies I used...
- Vintage Photo Distress Ink
- Momenta paper
- Sympathy stamp set by Pink By Design

And now what I'm sure you've been waiting for! :) The winner of the twine sample giveaway from last week.

And the winner IS...

Margaret M!!!!

Congrats Margaret! I will be contacting you shortly!!

Really hope you stop back again tomorrow!!

Sisters layout

Hello crafty friends!!! SO today I have another layout to show you... I cannot really say I'm too happy with how it turned out but thought I would post it anyway... I used some items from a Momenta kit and kind of threw it together. My favorite part is my new washi tape! :)

I still cannot believe that I have two little girls... Growing up without a sister meant it was my dream to have two little girls! I love these sisterly moments!! Wednesday I will (probably) find out if the girls will have another sister, or a little brother!!

I used some chipboard stickers as well as 3D stickers that came in the kit.

And here is my new washi tape!!! :) Love the look of it! Can't wait to play with it on some more projects!!

I only used ONE 'ingredient' on my layout today...
- Momenta Simply Perfect Page Kit - Floral

Make sure you stop back tomorrow for my Pink By Design post and a little giveaway!!

Big Sis Layout

Hey everyone!! Firstly I want to start off by thanking you all for all the love you have left me on my blog as of recently. So nice. I'm working to stop by all of your blogs to check out what beautiful works of art you have all been creating!!

I think these prego hormones may be making me a little sentimental tonight as I type this post! LOL I had a great day with my girls. Ya know those days where you just take everything your kids do IN, and REALLY look at them?! When you can see them not just as kids, but as beautiful, loving little beings?! That was me today. I've really been taking time for myself lately and it has worked WONDERS! I think I'm a better mom for it.

Anyways.... like I said, hormones... :) This layout is what is ALSO making me sentimental...

These pics bring back my precious memories of all the love Bria had for her baby sister when she was born. They still love each other, but in between biting, pushing and kicking! (Usually over a toy).

I was inspired by the sketch challenge over at Pretty Little Studio this week. LOVE those sketches, plus the DT gives amazing inspiration.

I love the Sibling Love set by Pink By Design. It has sooo many great sentiments.

This was my very first attempt at cutting letters with my cameo. LOVE that thing - cuts like butter!!!

Here is everything I used for this layout...
- Paper is Momenta
- Sibling Love stamp set from Pink By Design
- Journalling set from Pink By Design
- Paisley cuttlebug folder
- Recollections washi tape
- buttons, twine & pearls from my stash
- sewing machine

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful day!

Teacher Appreciation

Are you loving stopping back in here on a regular basis?? :) I suuuuure love having you!! I have a couple more cards to show you over the next couple of days, then I really hope to get working on some layouts!!! I'm really behind in my girls' scrapbooks, and with another baby coming I think I'm getting in a little too deep!! :) Can you imagine the crafty shock I'm going to have if this baby is a boy?! I've always been so used to making such GIRLY projects!!! I guess we'll see... ;)

My card today is for a teacher... And of course I used the print and cut feature and my cameo. Love, love, LOVE this!!! Makes things sooo much quicker!! I tried to make a video to show you all how to use this feature, but it bombed so maybe I'll try another one next time...

I have also been looooving my sewing machine these days!! I've really gotten onto using it and now it gets used in almost every project!
This card has a lot of dimension which is one of my favorite things about it!!

Here's my 'ingredients'...
- Momenta paper
- chalkboard graphic from Lettering Delights
- 'Our Teachers' stamp set by Pink By Design
- white embossing powder
- sewing machine
- EK Success Notebook border punch
- doodles with white gelly roll pen

Make sure you come back again soon!! I still have so many projects to share with you!!! And think of me today while I am out planting trees in our yard, while it rains!! :) Should be fun!!

**Click HERE for my 600 follower giveaway!!**

Happy Monday everyone!! How great is it to start EVERY Monday with a little blog hop?! I love it!!

I have been a little frazzled these past couple weeks, but I think I'm finally getting back into the swing of things.... I'm hoping that since I'm finally back into our routine, I will have more time for crafting and posting!! Anyways, back to my project!!!

Aw... Isn't that little birdie so SWEET?? He actually makes me feel a little sorry for him (totally silly, I know...) because he seems so shy! I just want to give him a hug, and tell him he's adorable... I have gotten ADDICTED to coloring 2 Cute Ink Stickerz!! I used sharpies for this sticker, but I'm always eyeing up markers now... If anyone has any suggestions - besides copics - let me know! :)

This sticker was from this set...

ADORABLE!!! Did you know stickerz and rub-ons from EAD Designs ship FREE??? Awesome, I know...

I used a lot of pop-dots on this card to make sure the little bird  stood out.
I also used Momenta paper for this card and the new 'Just Sayin' stamp set from Pink By Design.
Onto the next stop - Jenn's blog!!!  I know she'll have an awesome project for you, she always does!! Make sure to leave a comment on each blog on the way so you have a chance to win some EAD goodies!!!

Welcome to the weekly EAD Designs Blog Hop!!! :) If you are here from Amy's blog then you are in the right spot! PLUS - if you leave a comment on each stop in the hop, you will be entered to win some awesome EAD goodies!!!

I have such a busy day today! It's Bria's Valentine's Day party at Playschool. She even has a special Valentine... His name is Kaleb - and they are in LOVE. Not even joking.... We had to give her a "No Kissing Kaleb" talk before Christmas because they were kissing all the time!! She's 3!! I hope this is not any indication of what's to come! Anyways...

I have been dying to use some of my Chalk It hearts from EAD Designs and this was the PERFECT card for them! This card is for Bria's sweetheart of a teacher.

I actually went and bought chalk just so I could use it on these hearts! In addition to the Chalk It hearts, I also used the Bookworm clear stickers and colored them using Sharpie markers (any alcohol based markers work the best).

Bookworm

Did you know that all EAD Designs stickerz and rub-ons ship FREE?!?! Even to Canada!! How often does that happen, Canadians???? (Never, eh?!?) :)

Love my Cameo Blog Hop!!

Hey everyone!! Hope you are having lots of fun on this hop!!! If you have arrived here from Cecilia's blog, Crafting In the Night, you are in the right spot!! If you need to start back at the beginning of the hop, head over to Amy's blog!! You don't want to miss any of these projects!!

What do I love about the cameo???? Well.... where do I start... :) My FAVORITE thing is how clean it cuts. That is my biggest pet peeve about my cricut... My second favorite thing is being able to purchase files online. I live 2 hours away from the closest city so anything I can buy online is perfect!! Plus, you have these wonderful little files at your fingertips 24 hours a day, and you receive them almost instantly!! LOVE!! :) I have quite the collection of SVG's going on...... And my project  includes some of my favorites!!

These cute little bread slices are from the Stuck On You set by Lettering Delights. I love them... they're so adorable!! Especially with the Peachy Keen faces!! These faces came from the Winter Wonderland Face Assortment set.

I did a lot of doodling with my white gelly roll pen and added dimension to the card by using pop dots under my bread slices.

This perfect sentiment is from the Pink By Design set You Are. I embossed it with white powder. The paper is by Momenta and I used an EK Success border punch as well as a striped embossing folder for added details.

I am the last stop on the hop!! Wasn't it inspiring?!? I don't have any candy for this hop specifically... :( BUT I do have a giveaway going on right now!! Click HERE for details on the Cricut Cartridge I am giving away once I reach 600 followers!!

I love butterflies & daisies!

HELLO!!! :) Today I am sharing a layout that I LOVE....

I used my stitched circle die from My Creative Time to create the scalloped kraft paper edge on the left hand side. I took a strip of white scalloped ribbon, cut it in half and glued it down with ZipDry glue. The journaling stamp is from the Pink By Design Journling Set. Of course I added some pearls - don't I always?! :)

Brittyn will be 18 months in two days, I can't believe it! I remember the day I took these pics, and it seems like yesterday! Sigh....

I used my EAD Designs Tinytwinies Stickerz along with Momenta paper to make this layout. The tree is cut from the Sweethearts cartridge. I used my distressed wood Pink By Design background stamp on the tree trunk.  And did you notice my stitching?? I'm getting better with my sewing machine now! Yay!

The words in my title were cut from Baby Steps and the heart came from Gypsy Wanderings.

I'm entering this layout into the following challenges...
-  February Challenge at Simply Crafts
- Wacky Wednesdays at More Than Favors
- Challenge Me Monday at Fantabulous Cricut
- Terrific Tuesdays at Scrappy Moms

Hope you enjoyed my layout today!!!

What not to do...

This is my second post of the day - if you're looking for my EAD Designs Blog Hop post, click HERE

I made this card a couple days ago, and am just getting the chance to post it... This was one of those projects that kinda flopped...

I followed this weeks sketch over at Pretty Little Studio...

And here is my card!

I loved the sketch for this card, but I kinda wrecked my EAD Stickerz. :( I colored them with permanent Sharpie markers and then added a layer of Glossy Accents to make them stand out a little more. I experimented with the glossy accents on the stickers and it worked fine, but for some reason the mermaid's hair bled! The dark brown was the only color that seemed to do this... Maybe it wasn't completely dry? Not sure.......

I used Momenta paper and the sentiment I used on this card is from the Pink By Design stamp set Sandy Toes.

I made the banners using the Small Banner Pink By Design stamp set.

Anyways, hopefully you were inspired by SOME part of this card!! :)
