Haul Video!!

Hey everyone!! Hope you are all having a great weekend so far!! I'm still working on getting everyone back into routine after our crazy trip to Orlando! We all got sick while we were there so our first day or two back was just trying to rest up again. I can't wait to post some pics from our trip once I get them edited! :)

The past month or so I have been doing some crafty shopping. Every year I let myself indulge in the Black Friday sales a bit and this year was no different! I also picked up a few things from Joann's while I was on holidays. Since I LOVE seeing my crafty friends' haul videos, I thought I would post one for you all.

Enjoy! :)

A little before Black Friday I also picked up these little treasures from Trendy Twine!!

I also wanted to remind you of a couple of things!!

- The current challenge over at the Cameo Creations Challenge Blog is use the colors PINK and BROWN
- The current challenge over at Trendy Twine this month is: Show Us Your Mittens
- And Lisa at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons has some great new releases you really need to check out!

Disney Love Layout - Trendy Twine

Today is my very first post as a guest designer at the Trendy Twine blog!!! SOOOO super excited about this!! I am so in love with this twine!

For the layout I am sharing today, I used the Berry Red twine

The combination of the Berry Red twine and white polka dot paper from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons screams Minnie Mouse to me! :) These pictures are from our very first time at Disney. We  LOVE Disney... :)

My hearts are from the Silhouette store and I filled them with digital paper, making the patterns different scales. I printed, then cut all the hearts using my cameo. I used a fine line applicator bottle with some craft glue to outline the hearts, then added my twine. Using glue in the fine line applicator bottle makes it so clean and easy to adhere and place the twine exactly where I wanted it.

I found a Disney looking font on dafont.com and I'm sure I will be using it often!!

Make sure to come back again next Friday for another project for Trendy Twine!!

Cameo Creations: Pink & Brown

I am so glad to be back posting again!! Christmas was pretty crazy and we were on a family vacation in Florida for 10 days right after. What a whirlwind!! I am looking forward to some time with some new goodies in my craft room!!

Today my project is for the new Challenge over at the Cameo Creations Challenge blog!! The theme of the challenge is Pink and Brown - one of my favorite color combos! I decided to make a Birthday card for my best friend whose birthday is coming up.

I found a jar cutting file in the silhouette store and made some small circles to look like gumballs. I added glitter to all the gumballs and a brown satin ribbon onto my jar. The paper is from the DCWV Sweet Stack.

I used a sentiment by Pink By Design on the inside that reads,"I'm missing you like candy".

Hope you like my card today! Make sure to link up your brown and pink projects over at Cameo Creations!!!

Jaded Blossom Guest Designer

I am a guest designer over at Jaded Blossom today!!! So fun!! Love their unique stamps!!
Thanks so much to Michelle and Candace for the opportunity!

For my project I made the cutest little treat holder as a birthday gift for my mom...

I used a 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from the Make A Wish stamp set on a tag from the Silhouette store. Tickled with Teal twine from Trendy Twine went perfectly with my color scheme as well as some Recollections pearls as sprinkles (EVERYTHING has to have sprinkles at our house :)). I used some Colorbox fluid chalk ink to add dimension to my tag and icing. My last couple details were a button and some doodling with a white gelly roll pen.

I cut this little treat box (from the Silhouette store) so that I could fill it up with rockets, which are my mom's favorite candy.

Make sure you check out the Jaded Blossom blog, they are having some amazing giveaways to celebrate their Birthday!!!

Goodie Bags

Hi!! Today I wanted to show you what I put together for Bria's playschool class. It was quick and easy.... so I didn't CRY when I saw the little ones ripping my bag toppers right off! :) Oh print and cut... what did I ever do without you?? ;)

I let Bria choose three animals from the Christmas Nights graphic set from Stockberry Studio. I printed them out then cut them with my cameo. All of the sentiments are from the Winter Wishes stamp set by Scrappy Moms.

I used a couple different Peachy Keen stamp sets for my animals' faces.

I think this is by far my favorite set of Christmas sentiments that I own. So adorable. I also recently received two more great sets from Scrappy Moms which were part of my crafty Black Friday shopping! I think I may do a haul video - there were a lot of goodies!! :)

And that's it... super quick and easy. Plus, they were a hit with the kiddies!

Have a great day!

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons - Batgirl Ornament

Happy Wednesday, everyone!! It's Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT Day! Today I have a cute little project to share, but first I want to let you all know who the winner of my Christmas Giveaway was!! Random.org choose.... {DRUMROLL}
Becky from Becky's Craft Place who said... "
This is so cute! I'm on a non-traditional color kick right now, so it's just the kind of inspiration I love!"
Congrats, Becky!! I left a comment on your blog so please email me! :)
Onto my project!
My 2 year old recently found a Bat Girl costume in a holiday magazine and has been obsessed!! I went through a blog hop the other day, and was totally inspired by a project done by Sandra over at 365 Days of Cricut. She made little Supermen for a Christmas tree. This sparked an idea that may become a yearly tradition at our house.

I put my own little girly spin on Batman...

I used the colors of the costume in the magazine as inspiration. The underside of Batgirl's cape is stamped with a lace background stamp by Pink BY Design, then heat embossed with gold powder. I made a bow from some tulle from the dollar store and black thread, then finished it up with some white details and a piece of new gold shimmer Twinery Twine.

This isn't only an ornament for our tree... the back side (which I should have also taken a picture of...) has the year along with Brittyn's Wish List for this Christmas on it. I'm either going to add it to her Christmas scrapbook layout, or put it in her baby book.
Make sure to stop over at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog to see all the other great projects done by the DT!! I have seen a lot of them and they are awesome!!

Gingerbread Treat Box

Hey everyone!! I have been wanting to make some little treat gifts for people for a while, but have always had a littel problem... I have ZERO will power, and when I get these treats into my home, they don't last long enough to make a project with... If you're friends with me on Facebook, you may know my baby has been showing symptoms of a dairy allergy. Since I'm nursing her, it means I've had to cut ALL dairy out of my diet - including chocolate! This means that chocolate now lasts in my house!! Hooray! :)

I've had these candy stamps from Jaded Blossom for a while now, but as I said before, there has never been candy to use them with!

I found this super cute little gingerbread house treat holder in the Silhouette store and knew it would work great for some little chocolate nuggets.

First I used some Christmas cardstock to wrap my chocolates in, then I cut a bunch of little white circles with my cameo that I could stamp onto. Once I had all the circles stamped with my candy stamps, I glued them onto the chocolates.

I used some Trendy Twine to wrap around my wreath on the door, then added a bow.  I also added some red satin ribbon to tie the treat box up. My treat box is big enough to fit 6 little nuggets in but of course you can make it larger to fit more.

I'm linking this project up over at the monthly challenge at Jaded Blossom, then heading over to Great Grandma's house so the girls can give her this surprise!

Have a great day and make sure to come back tomorrow for  Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT day!!
