Ginger Snap Scraps - Teresa Collins

Hey Everyone!! Today's my very first day to post for the
Ginger Snap Scraps DT!!

Ginger Snap Scraps

If you haven't looked around the store yet, make sure you do!! HERE Cori has a lot of must have supplies and often has sales for her customers - what's not to absolutely love about that?! :)
Today we're featuring Teresa Collins! I LOVE her products. I'm so into her colors as well as her elegant style!! I used the Teresa Collins Chic Bebe Girl Project Kit for this layout.

To check out the Teresa Collins products in the Ginger Snap Scraps store - click HERE

The pink artisan shape is actually a chipboard piece which is supposed to be used as part of an album, but I never make albums so I used it here instead!

I used an EAD Designs rub-on flourish on the paper, sprayed black Ditto glimmer mist over it, then wiped the glimmer mist off the flourish. This is what I was left with! So pretty! I made the felt flowers myself and added a rhinestone in the center. I also made the stick pins myself with some beads I picked up from WalMart.

The Bebe title embellishment was part of the kit and I used a punch to make the cut out with the sentiment below on it. The sentiment came from the Pink By Design stamp set - Sweet Baby. I used some Tim Holtz Black Soot distress ink to add some distressing to a lot of the chipboard background and the shape the sentiment is on. I also added some glossy accents to the word 'Bebe' to make it stand out more. The little pink bow was made using crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam, and my 3 Girl Jam bow maker (LOVE!!!!).  I also used my bow maker for the black bow near the bottom.

I hope you love my layout today as much as I do!! Be sure to head on over to the
to check out more awesome projects from the Design Team!!!

Next week my blog is going to be SUPER busy with great posts - including my RAINBOW BLOG HOP on Wednesday!!!! - so make sure you remember to stop back in again!!! :)

Pink By Design Post (a week late!!)

Happy Tuesday!! Hope all you Canadians enjoyed the long weekend! We had a lot of family down so we were super busy all weekend! Just last weekend we were visiting my husband's family about 10 hours from here so I'm ready to get back into a normal routine!! The month of August is CRAZY for us this year! It's usually busy, but this year, it's crazy! :) My blog is going to be super busy as well from here on out, so make sure you come back often!!

Speaking of my blog - I recently hit 600 followers!!! How awesome is that?! I want to thank each and every one of you who stop by and and especially those of you who leave words of encouragement! It means so much! Love you all!!!

My project today is actually the project I posted over on the Pink By Design blog last week... I meant to get it up on here but just never found the time. :( Anyways, better late than never, right?!

Yep, it's a winter layout!! Crazy to think winter will be here (in Alberta, anyway) before we know it! AND I'll have a new baby! :)

I used the following to put this layout together...
- Recollections 'Oh Christmas Tree' stack
- silhouette cameo to cut out the 'Cozy' title as well as the banner
- snowflake embossing folder on the banner
- Stampin' Up lace
- Pink By Design Journaling stamp for the journaling tag, and also My Type set for 'memories'
- Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink
- Martha Stewart snowflake punch
- buttons from my stash
- white gelly roll pen

I hope you like!! 'See' you soon!! :)

PBD Anniversary Challenge #4!!!

Hey Everyone!!! Do you know what day it is today?? The TWO year anniversary of Pink By Design!! If you haven't heard already there are some BIG, fun things happening today! On the Pink By Design blog there are challenges every hour and tons of prizes being given away! PLUS for anyone who participates in EACH challenge will be getting a FREE stamp set sent to them!!! How awesome is that!!!! Plus there are going to be a few awesome surprises you don't want to miss!

The project this hour is to Create a project using a silhouette shape!! When I say "silhouette" I DON"T mean a cut from a silhouette machine - but just an outline of a shape.
Take a peek at my projects...

My cut came from the Silhouette online store and I used the Damask background stamps as well as a sentiment from the Shopaholic stamp set from Pink By Design.

This cut also came from the Silhouette online store and I used the Script background set for the background behind the heads and the Inner Princesses set for the sentiment, both from Pink By Design.

You can use any shape you want - as long as it's just the outline of that shape!! Now head into your craft room then link up over at Pink By Design (Challenge #4) for a chance to win some AWESOME prizes!!!!

Just in case you need a little more inspiration, here are a couple other projects I have made in the past using silhouettes!!

I hope this enough to kick start your creative juices!!! :)

Tag, You're It - Pink By Design Challenge

Hey Everyone!! Hope you all had a great weekend!! I definitely did! I left my girls home with their dad and went to my friend's - who has been in Australia for 4 years - wedding in the city! The next morning I went to the spa for a couple hours, did a little shopping then met up with my mom, cousin, sister in law and a few other people and went to a dinner theatre play! Such a great weekend with people I don't always get to see! :)

This layout was made with the new Sandcastle Collection over at Pretty Little Studio!
I was inspired by the current challenge over at Pink By Design - Tag, You're It! The challenge was to include a tag somewhere in the project. You have until Tuesday night to get your projects linked up at the Pink By Design blog. Remember, you don't have to use Pink By Design stamps in order to be a winner over there!!

These pics are from Brittyn's first visit to the zoo! Such a fun little summer day last year! I can't believe how much she's grown...

I used the Just My Type stamp set by Pink By Design for all the words on the journaling tag. They're kind of hard to see in the pic...

I cut the word 'summer' out on my cameo and traced around the outside with a blue gel pen to make it stand out.

Sorry, not a lot of details for this layout today - I was super late posting it and now I'm off to make supper for my hungry family!!! :)

Belly Laughs

Well, my mission to get my scrapbooks up to date continues!! :) Hope you're not getting sick of my layouts!!

Here is another one, using the same KI Memories kit that I used for the layout yesterday. Love these pics of Brittyn when she was a little baby... Makes my heart smile.

I'm usually not a fan of the alphabet sets but lately I've been loving them. It makes creating a title so quick and easy - right up my alley these days!!

I love the Journaling stamp set by Pink By Design, a definite must have for any scrapbooker!!

Hope you're inspired!!! Have a crafty and creative day!!

Pink By Design Post Day!

Hey crafty friends!!! :) Today is my day to post over at Pink By Design! Make sure you head over there to check out some news on some upcoming Pink By Design events!! Some super exciting things happening!!

My layout today features pics of my girls having a moment I never ever want to forget... Bria was giving Brittyn a lesson on how to drink her very first juice box.

I used a kit from KI Memories that I purchased through Scrapbooking Steals a while ago and have been hoarding! :) I'm so bad for that... I never want to use my pretty paper but I realized the other day that if I don't start using it, my hubby will see it piling up and think I don't need to buy any more! Can't let that happen, now can we?! ;)

I used the Sibling Love stamp set from Pink By Design for this layout. Such a sweet set.

Hope you liked my layout today!!! Thanks for stopping by!! :)
