Long Time, No "See"?!?!

Hey Everyone!!! I'm betting you thought I had fallen off the face of the Earth!! :) Well, here I am!!!

The past few months have been a little rough in a few different ways.... My daughter, Brittyn, has been sick for pretty much four months straight, and among other things, I found out I was expecting in March. (Can you say "OOOOPPPSY"?!?) I'm starting to get used to the idea now, but it's been a long couple months. :) I actually had to make the very sad choice of stepping down from the EAD Designs team because I simply needed to focus on my family as well as myself. :(

I'm finally coming out of my first trimester and starting to feel better!! HOORAY!! I was really scared I had totally lost my crafty mojo!! Not saying it's back in full force yet, but at least I'm making progress!! Anyways, onto what I'm sure you're REALLY here for - crafts!! :)

Today is my day to post over at Pink By Design!! Since my goal these days is to work on getting my crafty motivation back, I thought I would work on a layout since they are my FAVORITE type of crafty projects!

The page didn't turn out as I had pictured in my head, but the little girl turned out adorable...

Of course I had to add a banner as my title...

I hadn't played with my crafty supplies in so long that I used almost ALL my favorites!! Here is what I used...

- Small Banners stamp set for the banner
- The Twinery twine for banner
- paper from Momenta and Pretty Little Studio
- Enjoy the Journey set for the sentiment
- heart shaped note card from Pretty Little Studio
- crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam
- little girl SVG from The Scrap Chick
- girl's face from Peachy Keen
- sun SVG from Weather Girl at Lettering Delights
- fluid chalk ink

I hope I will be back again soon with another project!! :)

EAD Designs DT Blog Hop!

Happy Monday!! Perfect day for an E.A.D. Designs blog hop! :)

You should have come from Amy's awesome blog, if not, make sure you head over to the E.A.D. Designs page to start out the hop. Every week they give away some goodies to a lucky hopper!!
I wanted to try out a CAS project this week.... I love other people's simple and clean cards, but it's not really my style. I really have mixed feelings about this card.... I just feel like it's so PLAIN! Let me know what you think...

I used the polaroid rub ons as well as a little girl from the Kids Doodles stickerz set.

Of course I wanted to add so much more to this card, but I fought through and went SIMPLE! :)

Now head on over to Jenn's blog to see the inspiration she has for you this week!! I'm sure you do not want to miss it!! :)

Cherry On Top!

Click HERE for my CRICUT CARTRIDGE GIVEAWAY!!!!
I am sooooo in love with cherries... I don't get why I haven't created soo many more projects with cherries!! I think about projects with them all the time, but those projects just never seem to get very high on my priority list! This time, the cherries MADE it!! :) I was making a few of these to sell, so I had to keep them pretty simple...

Unfortunately this pic looks like crap and I didn't realize until I had deleted the other ones I took....
Hopefully you can get a better idea from the close-ups!

I used paper from a Recollections paper pack from Michaels that had cherry and strawberry prints on it. Super cute. I cut the cupcake from the Sweet Treats cartridge.

I used my banner punch from Stampin' Up, along with some Trendy Twine that I won earlier this year. The sentiment is from the Take The Cake set by Pink By Design. I also added some Glossy Accents to the cherry, and a lot of faux stitching with my white gelly roll pen.

I hope you liked my project today!! :) I am linking it up over at Pink Cricut!! Head over and check out all the projects!!!

E.A.D. Designs DT Blog Hop!!

Hi crafty friends!! So glad you stopped by for the blog hop today! Thank goodness for these Monday hops... I doubt I would have posted at all so far this month if it weren't for them!! I have been soooo slack on posting lately. :( I'm really working towards getting back to my regular posts starting THIS week!! So make sure to stop by again! I also wanted to remind everyone that I am giving away a Cricut Cartridge once I reach 600 followers! I would LOVE to give it away, so help me out if you can! :)

Onto my project today!! You should have come from Amy's awesome blog, if not, make sure you head over to the E.A.D. Designs page to start out the hop. Every week they give away some goodies to a lucky hopper!!

I made my card this week for my Auntie. She is someone who loves sending funny cards for occasions and I wanted to show her homemade cards can still be funny!

I LOVE these stickerz!! They are one of my fav sets from EAD. Ironic, since my daughter is deathly allergic to peanuts and we avoid them at all costs....

I popped up both the frame and the peanut with foam stickers.

I love this sentiment...  It's from the All In the Family set by Pink By Design.

Now head on over to Jenn's blog to see the inspiration she has for you this week!! I'm sure you do not want to miss it!! :)

E.A.D Designs Blog Hop!

**Click HERE for my 600 follower giveaway!!**

Happy Monday everyone!! How great is it to start EVERY Monday with a little blog hop?! I love it!!

I have been a little frazzled these past couple weeks, but I think I'm finally getting back into the swing of things.... I'm hoping that since I'm finally back into our routine, I will have more time for crafting and posting!! Anyways, back to my project!!!

Aw... Isn't that little birdie so SWEET?? He actually makes me feel a little sorry for him (totally silly, I know...) because he seems so shy! I just want to give him a hug, and tell him he's adorable... I have gotten ADDICTED to coloring 2 Cute Ink Stickerz!! I used sharpies for this sticker, but I'm always eyeing up markers now... If anyone has any suggestions - besides copics - let me know! :)

This sticker was from this set...

ADORABLE!!! Did you know stickerz and rub-ons from EAD Designs ship FREE??? Awesome, I know...

I used a lot of pop-dots on this card to make sure the little bird  stood out.
I also used Momenta paper for this card and the new 'Just Sayin' stamp set from Pink By Design.
Onto the next stop - Jenn's blog!!!  I know she'll have an awesome project for you, she always does!! Make sure to leave a comment on each blog on the way so you have a chance to win some EAD goodies!!!

A Happy Hello

This is my SECOND post of the day, to take a peek at my guest appearance project for 3 Girl Jam, scroll down!!! Today is my day to post over at Pink By Design!!! Here is my post......

******

Hey! Candace from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses here! :) How much are you LOVING all the awesome projects from the new DT members?? Such amazing talent....
This project was inspired by a sentiment from one of Pink By Design's new stamp sets - Just Sayin'. I was browsing through my SVG files and this cut called to me!
I have one super easy little tip for you today.... To make this banner that my sentiment is stamped on, first I cut a strip of paper longer than I knew I would need. (This one was about 3 - 3.5 inches long). I stamped my sentiment, then used my score board to score on either side of the sentiment. I added two more score lines 1/8" from the first two score lines. Then I trimmed the ends of the strip of paper to make it look like a banner. Folding the score lines in opposite directions gives the banner a dimensional look... Use adhesive on the two ends of the banner and viola!! :) I think I really felt the need to share this tip because this is the ONLY thing I ever use my score board for! LOL

Hope you were inspired by my project today!! And just a reminder that today is also a Pink By Design 'Kiss Me, I'm Irish' blog hop followed by a challenge!!! Make sure you check it out!! :)
